Siteco aims to be quality leader in national and international markets for technical indoor and outdoor lighting as well as custom solutions. Quality, next to innovation and service is one of the foundations of the Siteco brand. Quality permeates the product world and is at the same time a measure for services and processes within the company and outside of it.
Our aim is to develop and implement the best possible solution for every project. The high level of project competence of Siteco employees as well as partnerships with a global network of manufacturing locations help in combining resources and in their optimal implementation.

An important part of the Siteco policy is the combination of quality with environmental responsibility. We understand this as the responsibility of each employee to handle natural resources economically, with the design of products and with manufacturing processes. The company has been certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for many years. We support comprehensive quality and environment initiatives within various institutes and advisory boards.

For example our participation on the IPP project. Involved are various quality and environment-oriented corporations as well as the Bavarian Department of Environment.

Environmental Protection

Siteco is steeped in an environment consciousness that sees its obligation in a permanent effort for improvement and in the avoidance of environmental burdens. At the same time, Siteco abides by all legal requirements. With the development and manufacture of our products we stress the importance of process efficiency. That makes itself paid for the company and for the environment. When we are able to produce more units from our manufacturing facilities we contribute to the success of the company. At the same time that protects the environment: in this way we need less resources and avoid detrimental immissions and waste. The aims when selecting suitable manufacturing materials are not just long product life but a reduction in weight according to the general trend to miniaturisation of luminaires, coupled with an improvement in energy efficiency.

Many of our activities for environment protection begin with the development of products and processes. For example, the development of all Siteco luminaires is closely connected with the theme of energy efficiency, which means that energy efficiency for Siteco always has to do with a comprehensive knowledge of light.

Saving energy is one side of the coin, the creation of optimal lighting conditions for people, at point of work and in their surroundings the other. Energy use per square metre is of course one way of measuring. But energy-efficient lighting solutions offer an additional possibility for a flexible use of space and an optimisation of the number of lighting instruments required.

In the area of outdoor lighting, Siteco began early with the development of immission reducing technologies. The Siteco Mirrortec technology with its highly efficient radial facetted optics for large luminaire spacing coupled with a uniform light distribution and minimised light spill also comes under the postulate of energy efficiency.
