Light Quality FirstIn order to design a diverse range of indoor and outdoor spaces with light, manifold lighting concepts are needed. The quality of perfect lighting solutions is concentrated upon people and architecture.
The Siteco code of practise for the realisation of flexibility, aesthetics, well-being and energy is called 'Light For Vitality'. This encompasses a holistic notion of light quality – a concept that not only incorporates the adherance to photometric demands but also aesthetic, ergonomic and architectural criteria as well as the individual, emotional expectations of people. Separate switching and dimming of individual components in the area of indoor lighting creates the possibility of changeable lighting scenes in a room. The first lighting component here is volumetric light, defined as reflected light from ceilings and walls. The second is a directly distributed light for functional and working surfaces. Switching and dimming means that a change in light output and light colour is achieved. These basic components take consideration of such factors as light, space and people. |
