The Hexal® trunking system is based upon a variable modular system principle that is able to adapt flexibly to complex lighting demands. It is characterised by a very low weight and an unusual appearance. Both come from the special construction and material of the compact luminaire module: The housing is of extremely thin aluminium and also fulfils the function of a reflector. The material features a visually attractive, highly functional, robust and form-stable hexagonal structure of three-dimensional honeycombs. The structure creates optimal, glare-free light point resolution and saves up to 80% in weight. This means with a 1 to 4-length Hexal® trunking arrangement, mounting distances of up to 4 metres can be achieved. Various light distribution patterns can be created with the various optical components. In addition to CAT2 specular louvres, ribbed cross-blade louvres and lamellae, a brilliant prismatic enclosure, an opal diffuser and a wallwasher insert for asymmetric distribution are available. |
