A complex lighting technology consisting of high-grade prismatic structures characterises all Novaluna variations. Typical is the use of prismatic structures in a 'V' arrangement, in combination with linear prismatic structures.
The combination of secondary and prism technology takes advantage of both systems: lamps are hidden from view and large light emission surfaces allow an efficient and exact directing of light. Especially reduced, homogenous luminance values are achieved. That is the reason why Novaluna luminaires stand for ergonomic and flexible lighting for workspaces.
ELDACONĀ® technology represents optimal restriction of reflected and direct glare. All standards are fulfilled in respect to the reduction of direct glare. Luminaires with ELDACONĀ® microprismatic structures even go far beyond satisfying these levels. In office areas with computer screens the Novaluna variation with ELDACONĀ® allows high levels of illuminance with absence of glare (UGR 16 or less).
High Definition Prismatics (HDP) also satisfy the demands of standards for direct glare restriction (UGR 19 or less). The use of HDP technology is also suitable for use in rooms with high direct glare restriction requirements. All Novaluna luminaires provide a high level of visual comfort. Lighting designers have the possibility of deploying luminaires with a balanced, aesthetic appearance and design construction independent of types of lighting technology and ceiling system.
