Light For The Well-Being, Light For Prestigious Surroundings

The Skylab concept study combines the technology of light emitting diodes with Siteco's ELDACON light directing technology. The light from LED's is directed from the optical system via highly precise microprismatic structures onto the surface to be illuminated. Reflected light and direct glare are hereby reduced to a minimum.

The surfaces have a uniform luminance and impart a crystal-clear, bright and brilliantly aesthetic ambience. The LED's appear as small light spots and create an interesting play of light. Warm-white direct light is emitted via Eldacon micro-prismatic structures without glare into the room. A cool, indirect light component is directed upwards via a frosted, translucent diffuser. With additional Lowpower LED's, the exterior appearance of the building at night can be highlighted. All light components can be adjusted according to user requirements via remote control and scene-setting is possible.
