Lighting
Quill 9 Tower is a newly completed & modern office building with main road frontage with great visibility in Section 14. Quill group of companies owned many buildings in the urban city of Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur as they are well known in property investment division.
Façade also acts as lighting for the building as it's a communication tool with imagery, logos, and branding. Therefore Siteco’s Innovative projector enables to execute an attraction from the main roadside with blue colour filter especially at night. Siteco’s projector enhanced the colour contrast of the building behind the lighting columns by giving a variation between light blue and dark blue by using different wattage of lamps. The total numbers of projectors with blue colour filter used were 30 numbers, which mounted at the base level.
Predominantly 22 projectors were fixed to the upper level mounted upwards to enhance the aesthetic of the building at night. The frontages of the building are emphasized with façade mounted lighting from lower level with 5NX 722 projectors to create some vital accent in terms of lighting.
Currently Petaling Jaya comprises a number of buildings with disused modern lighting and Quill 9 has been distinguished as one of the grade “A” building.
