Sunway Pyramid is a distinctive retail landmark located in the heart of Petaling Jaya. It was opened in July 1997 as Malaysia's first themed shopping and entertainment mall with upscale outlets and exceptional leisure opportunities including an ice-skating rink. One of the mall's most easily recognized designs is the Egyptian-inspired Pyramid with a lion "standing guard" at the entrance. The rest of the building is embellished in the monumental style, complete with decorative facades, along with numerous Pharonic statuaries.

The exuberant façade is lighted by Siteco’s 5NA 722 projector leads into the interiors and internally illuminated the colored lights especially at night. The innovative architectural lighting and façade illuminate a sense of ambiguous environment for upscale shopping mall. The tentacle cuts of the building creates a space at the façade which enhance the entrance with Siteco’s 5NA 722 projector.
