Tecario® – the Siteco light line, designed for a particularly wide application spectrum, offers diverse design possibilities for presenting architecture with light. Various configurations with differing lighting technology can be realised from individual product components.

Not only the modular construction of the complete system but also the possibility of combining T16 light inserts with point light sources makes this Siteco light line a variable and highly diverse system. Tecario® with a frosted enclosure is recommended for the illumination of corridors, transition ways, entrance areas, canteens and many more applications, and in addition microprismatic and louvre versions are available for offices, conference rooms and meeting rooms. Office applications benefit from excellent glare reduction and visual comfort.

Whether as individual luminaires or light lines with an infinite appearance, with Tecario® a wide spectrum of arrangements can be achieved, and recessing and surface-mounting is just as possible as suspended mounting.

A succinct design

The design of the slender extruded aluminium profile catches the eye with its linear look. The profiles of the surface-mounted and suspended versions are anodised, and the recessed version is supplied in a coated state. The end caps of the surface-mounted and suspended versions have a cover of diecast aluminium, and the lower optical enclosure as a block-like element is a further unmistakable design element of Tecario®. Manufactured from PMMA plastic profile, it has both direct and lateral light emission, thus achieving a harmonious light effect. With the recessed Tecario® version the optical enclosure is surrounded by a slender, all-round gap. This enables lateral emission of light with flush recessing as well.

Modular construction with optical options

Tecario® has been designed and constructed as a modular system. It includes recessing and surface-mounted channels in three different lengths for the realisation of individual luminaires and light lines. The T16 light inserts have single-lamp 28/54W and 35/49W multiwatt configurations. According to the lighting task the profiles can be equipped with various optical enclosures: completely frosted, with frosted sides and transparent underside together with HDP microprism optics or with a cross-blade louvre. With light lines, overlapping lamp configuration ensures homogeneous, continuous illumination of the optical enclosure. The Tecario® modular principle also enables further lighting options for additional accenting: spot inserts with LED, HIT and QT light sources are available.

Construction for simple mounting

The Tecario® light channels are equipped with 7-pole through-wiring for rapid, easy installation. The T16 light inserts can be mounted and replaced without tools via a simple rotary catch and connection via a plug-in system. Complete luminaire mounting is also remarkably simple – the surface-mounted version has a special ceiling fastening clip, and the recessed version has mounting accessories integrated into the profile. Optical enclosures are simply clicked in.
